Modern Slavery Statement
The nxzen Group is committed to principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and the eradication of modern slavery and human trafficking. The scope of this Modern Slavery Statement applies to all individuals working within and for the nxzen Group in all geographies and at all levels and grades, including Directors, Senior Managers, Staff and Consultants. This Statement also applies to all individuals and organisations working on nxzen’s behalf such as Contractors, Agency Workers, Suppliers and Agents.
Modern Slavery is a term used to encompass slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, bonded and child labour and human trafficking. Human Trafficking is where a person arranges or facilitates the travel of another person with a view to that person being exploited. Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights.
nxzen strictly prohibits the use of Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking in its operation and supply chain and is committed to implementing systems and controls aimed at ensuring that Modern Slavery is not taking place anywhere within its organisation, or supply chain.
nxzen’s robust approved supplier due diligence process includes review of the Modern Slavery policies for key suppliers. Supplier contracts are regularly reviewed and, where necessary, additional confirmation from suppliers is requested for confirmation of compliance to nxzen’s standard. nxzen applies a zero-tolerance approach to any form of Modern Slavery or Human Trafficking and will not enter into business with any organisation which knowingly supports, or is found to be involved, in slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour.
nxzen is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to creating and ensuring anon-discriminatory and respectful working environment for all staff. nxzen wants all staff to feel confident that they can expose wrongdoing without any risk to themselves. nxzen’s recruitment and people management processes are designed to ensure that all prospective employees are legally entitled to work in the location specific to their employment and to safeguard employees from any abuse or coercion and nxzen provides periodic awareness activities for staff members throughout the nxzen Group.
nxzen reports on adequacy of procedure and compliance with this Modern Slavery Statement to its Board of Directors at least every 12 months.
