Health Safety and Environment Policy
Scope and context
The nxzen Group delivers consulting and technical solutions across business transformation, operations, execution excellence, digital enterprise, and energy & water networks. Our work takes place across our own offices, customer premises, and operational sites throughout our global operation.
We recognise that while our purpose is to reduce risk for our customers, our own activities also present potential health, safety, and environmental risks.
This policy is supported by the nxzen Group HSE Framework Statement and associated procedures, standards, and forms, which set out the organisation and arrangements for its implementation.
Our commitment
The nxzen Group is committed to:
- Providing safe and healthy working conditions to prevent work-related injury and ill health
- Protecting the environment through pollution prevention, responsible resource use, and sustainable decision making
- Meeting all applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance obligations, including the expectations of our customers, partners, and other stakeholders
- Consulting and engaging our employees in decisions that affect their safety, health, and wellbeing
- Eliminating hazards and reducing HSE risks across all activities
- Ensuring continual improvement of the HSE management system and performance
- Ensuring that business objectives never compromise HSE standards.
- Our Group HSE management system is certified to ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018
How we deliver these commitments
To achieve our objectives we will:
- Identify and assess risks across our activities, products, and services, implementing controls to eliminate or mitigate them
- Understand external and internal requirements and implement them
- Identify emergency situations, reducing the likelihood of them occurring, and preparing for occurrence
- Provide training, supervision, and information to employees
- Provide safe work equipment and safe and healthy working conditions
- Act as an environmentally sustainable organisation t reducing waste, preventing pollution, and taking a life-cycle view of procurement and strategic decisions
- Ensure that outsourced activities are controlled.
- Maintain strong coordination, communication, and control with customers and partners at locations where we provide services
- Monitor and review performance and effectiveness of the HSE Management System
- Deliver continual improvement through identifying opportunities for improvement and controlling non-conformity
- We shall communicate this policy through the nxzen intranet, via new employee induction, on the nxzen website, and upon request by interested parties
- We will review this policy annually, and also after significant change, incidents, or lessons learnt
