Senior Test Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Test Analyst with strong experience in UI Testing, API Testing, Database/ETL/Data Warehouse Testing, and Cloud Testing. The candidate should possess strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Unix/Linux or cloud-based applications. Exposure to BI reporting tools is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, create, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Develop and maintain automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Perform UI, API, Database, ETL/DWH, and Cloud testing activities.
• Validate data integrity across source and target systems using complex SQL queries.
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
• Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or similar tools.
• Design and execute data-driven and reusable automated test suites in Tricentis Tosca.
• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications to derive test scenarios.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Identify, log, prioritize, track, and verify defects through closure using defect management tools.
• Perform root cause analysis for production defects and recommend preventive actions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Estimate testing effort, prepare test plans, and provide accurate status updates to project stakeholders.
• Review test cases, test execution results, and defect reports to ensure quality and completeness.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test data and assisting business users during validation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.
• Validate ETL workflows, data transformations, and reporting accuracy across enterprise data platforms.
• Execute test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives.
• Mentor junior QA team members and promote testing best practices across the team.
• Contribute to process improvements, test automation strategy, and quality assurance standards.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, execution reports, traceability matrices, and quality metrics.
