Cloud Monitoring & FinOps Platform Lead

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Monitoring & FinOps Platform Lead to design, implement, and optimize enterprise cloud monitoring, observability, governance, and FinOps capabilities across Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, FinOps, Azure Policy, Management Groups, Cloud Governance, and Cost Optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage cloud monitoring and observability solutions using Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics.
• Build and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, health checks, and operational metrics.
• Manage diagnostic logging for Azure infrastructure and platform services.
• Lead FinOps initiatives including cost optimization, resource utilization, and cost reporting.
• Implement Azure tagging strategies, Management Groups, and Azure Policies.
• Collaborate with SOC, DevOps, Finance, and BAU teams to improve governance and operational efficiency.
• Automate monitoring, governance, and operational workflows.
• Integrate monitoring solutions with ServiceNow and CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive continuous improvements in cloud reliability, security, and operational excellence.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics.
• Experience implementing FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Management Groups, Azure Policies, and Governance.
• Experience with Azure tagging strategies and cloud monitoring.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure, Security (SOC), DevOps, and BAU operations.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
