We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Networking Engineer to design, implement, and operate enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid networking platforms across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role requires deep hands-on expertise in cloud networking architectures, routing protocols, SD-WAN, application-level networking services, and network automation using Terraform.
The position is strongly hands-on and operational, covering day-to-day network operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, while also contributing to cloud networking architecture, API and application gateway design, and hybrid transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities – Cloud & Hybrid Networking
· Design, implement, and manage cloud networking architectures across:
o Microsoft Azure (Virtual Networks, NSGs, Azure vWAN Hub)
o Amazon Web Services (AWS) (VPCs, Transit Gateway, routing constructs)
· Manage hybrid network connectivity between on-premises environments and cloud platforms
· Configure and support:
o Virtual Networks / VPCs
o Subnets, route tables, NSGs / Security Groups
o Internet, private, and cross-region connectivity
· Act as the technical escalation point for complex cloud and hybrid networking issues

· Design, configure, and operate application-level networking services, including:

o Azure Application Gateway (Layer 7 load balancing, WAF)
o Azure API Management (APIM)
o Integration with vWAN, VNets, private endpoints, and security controls

o Application Load Balancer (ALB)
o Network Load Balancer (NLB) where applicable

· Ensure secure and scalable connectivity for:

Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory Skills
· 15+ years of overall IT experience with a strong networking focus
· 10+ years of core networking and automation experience
· Strong hands-on expertise with:
o Azure networking (vWAN Hub, VNets, NSGs, App Gateway, API Management)
o AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, ALB/NLB, API Gateway)
· Deep expertise in:
o BGP and OSPF routing protocols
o Network troubleshooting and performance optimisation
· Hands-on SD-WAN experience (Cisco or FortiGate mandatory)
· Terraform experience mandatory for network infrastructure automation
· Strong packet-level troubleshooting skills using Wireshark
· Proven experience managing hybrid and multi-cloud networks
