The SAP PP / Manufacturing Consultant provides BAU AMS support for the Make process domain within nxzen's SAP practice. This role covers production planning, manufacturing execution, quality management, product costing and batch management within S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate brings process industry expertise — chemicals, oil & gas, food & beverage or similar — combined with hands-on AMS delivery capability.
Core Responsibilities
Functional AMS — Manufacturing
• Manage and resolve incidents and service requests within the Make / Plan to Manufacture functional tower.
• Maintain and enhance PP, QM and PM RICEFs — including production forms, labels, quality certificates and goods receipt controls.
• Support production order management, batch management, goods receipt processing and quality inspection workflows.
• Manage change requests across production planning scope, including regression testing and release to production.
• Provide cross-tower support to Supply Chain and Procurement consultants on manufacturing-adjacent processes.
Technical Collaboration & Wave Support
• Collaborate with the technical team on manufacturing RICEF enhancements and technical change delivery.
• Support multi-country or multi-site onboarding — adapting PP configuration and RICEFs for new legal entities or plant structures.
• Contribute to RICEF documentation, audit preparation and handover quality gates
Skills & Experience
Essential
• 5+ years of SAP PP experience with S/4HANA experience required.
• Experience with process industry manufacturing: batch management, production orders, goods movements.
• Familiarity with SAP QM (Quality Management) and basic PM (Plant Maintenance) integration.
• SAP CO-PC (Product Costing) knowledge is a strong advantage.
• Experience in AMS or post-go-live support in a manufacturing environment.
• SAP S/4 HANA Certification
Highly Valued
• S/4HANA Manufacturing execution and embedded PP/DS experience.
• Process industry sector background — oil & gas, chemicals, food & beverage or pharmaceuticals.
• RICEF maintenance and functional change management experience in a live AMS context.
