Why do I have to reconnect my nXZEN to my phone
after turning either one off and on?


In order to conserve battery life nXZEN automatically detects when your cellphone is powered off and turns off its connection. Your cellphone does the same when nXZEN is turned off. When both are powered up and in range, simply press the nXZEN PINCH button for 1 beep or use your phone menus to reconnect the devices
